Why do bad things happen to good people?
Why does God let certain things happen?
These are two questions in life that no one has the answers to and never will.
As I walked into work today, there was such a somberness over the place.
Come to find out that one of our sweet co-workers, and friend had been in a awful accident yesterday afternoon.
She had just finished up at church, where her father is the pastor, when she accidentally got shot in the head.
Some young men were looking at the security guard's gun, when it accidentally fired off.
The bullet went though a closet door, then hit Hannah in the back of her head.
She was rushed by ambulance to BayFront Medical Center.
She made it through surgery to try to reduce the swelling around her brain and then through last night.
Her making it through the night shows just how powerful prayer and the power of God really is.
There is nothing left, medically, that can be done.
She has a one percent chance of recovering.
Her family, boyfriend, and friends are all now surrounding her with love.
Waiting.
For a miracle.
Hannah was such a devoted Cristian.
Loving the Lord with every ounce of her being.
Loving the Lord with every ounce of her being.
She and her boyfriend had plans of getting married one day and love each other oh so much.
Everyday when Hannah came into work she always had a smile on her face, had the cutest clothes, never had one bad thing to say, and had a love for Chocolate Chip Cookies.
So why did tragic event happen to her?
A devoted Christian....
A pastor's daughter....
A loving girlfriend....
and only 20....
Everyone here at StickyJ is asking the same question.
Why do bad things happen to good people and their loving families?
What does God have in store for sweet Hannah?
If it is her time for God to lift her up to heaven, why at such a young age?
Right when she has the world at her fingertips why is it all taken away?
We had a group prayer here at work, the co-workers that had today off came in to pray for Hannah. Everyone is heart broken and just doesn't know quite what to say.
Neither. do. I.
As we all come together through this hard time as one big Christian company we are leaning on each other for grace and faith.
All we can do is wait.
Pray.
This goes to show you that God know your entire being here on earth.
When you are born.
When you die.
Everything in between.
Life is precious yet uncertain. Sweet yet short.
